Rendering is the process of converting animal byproducts—such as meat scraps, fat, and bone—into purified fats (tallow, lard) and protein meals (meat and bone meal, poultry meal). This critical recycling process operates in extremely harsh, wet, hot, and corrosive environments. Conveyors, Inc. provides ultra-heavy-duty screw conveyors, continuous mixers, and drag conveyors specifically engineered to withstand the severe conditions of rendering plants. We construct our systems with heavy-gauge carbon steel or corrosion-resistant stainless steel, utilizing severe-duty seals, high-torque drives, and fat-tight enclosures to contain liquids and odors while maintaining continuous, high-capacity operation.
